A very fine 17th century Aubusson verdure tapestry woven in wool and silk. Of original proportions and with elaborate borders of fruit and flowers. The wooded scene depicting a duck with her ducklings on a lake with a distant town beyond. The foreground with various flowers including a cardoon and snowdrops. This tapestry is a very fine example of its type in unfaded conditions and retaining its original bright colourings. Circa: 1680 Width: 304cm Height: 245cm
