Description
A fine and rare Spode Feldspar dish with apple green border. The deep border containing three gilt rimmed reserves, one bearing the regimental cypher and the word “Buffs” for The Buffs East Kent Regiment. the Buffs had a tour of duty in the Colony of New South Wales between 1821 – 1827. The other reserves painted with an arrangement of shells and a Chinoiserie scene respectively. Circa: 1832
